We had dinner at the ramen place next door and on our way out I noticed this place. I walked in and was intrigued that they had a matcha crème brûlée drink. We were the only people inside and were helped immediately. Our drink was ready pretty fast, but the little wait time we did have to wait we enjoyed the good music they had playing. My only suggestion would be to add more to the decor, as the establishment is of a good size it seems pretty empty as most of the decor is concentrated at the entrance.

This place was amazing. I initially came to go to the boba shop next door but after looking at both menus, I chose Chakaa because it had a classic milk tea and it was one of their main drinks. The interior was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly. Their menu looked awesome and I loved my milk tea with boba. I got oolong with 25% sugar and it was perfect. The boba was fresh and chewy and the tea was creamy but still tasted like tea. I highly recommend and this is going to be one of my go to boba places.

Chakaa Tea House ended up being a great pick for something fruity and different. Originally, we planned to visit the tea shop next door, but I was in the mood for a drink with more flavor complexity, so we decided to try this place. The interior was stylish and inviting, creating a comfortable spot to hang out. I went with the Yakult Strawberry Fruit Tea, and it was a fantastic choice. The tangy sweetness of the Yakult paired perfectly with the strawberry, making the drink refreshing and satisfying. The worker suggested adding lychee, which was a great call--it added a subtle tropical note and a fun texture to the drink. Chakaa is a solid option for anyone looking for unique and fruity tea-based drinks. Friendly service, cool vibes, and thoughtful recommendations make it worth a visit.

Any time I'm in this plaza, I always notice this boba shop. What's crazy is that there are three boba shops in the plaza. This one seems to get some love unlike their neighbor, who gets so much love. In any case, I decided to stop by here because I wanted to check them out. Btw, during peak hours, parking is atrocious so good luck trying to find parking. Got here an hour before closing on a Thursday night. There was a good amount of people chilling and enjoying their drinks. The decor is simple and there's nothing wrong with that. They do have a wall with a mural on it and if you want to take a photo with it, go for it. The folks behind the counter were very nice. Their menu has enough variety and I appreciate that they have a board with their popular drinks. The price point is fair and it's the same as most boba shops now. I ordered the super fruit tea, half sweet and less ice and with aloe. I think there's only one size for the drinks, I wasn't paying attention. The drink came out pretty quickly. The aloe seemed sweet, tea was good but I definitely tasted all the fruits in the tea. There was watermelon and orange slices and passion fruit and other things I wasn't sure of. Overall, it was really good and I now want to return to the their other drinks. Will definitely be coming back.

Had a boba craving and stopped by CHAKAA Monday afternoon, the space was quiet with some inside seating available The taro fresh milk was DELICIOUS and the taro ribbons along the cup really added to the presentation, I got it 75% sweet and could even go for 50% next time but definitely satisfied my sweet tooth!

Stopped in right after dinner a couple of doors away. Although I was quite full, after my husband showed me they had Tung Hulu, I walked right in and bought two sticks (1 for $6 or 2 for $10). One stick was all grapes and the other was grapes and strawberries. The first time I tried one of these fun, sweet treat was in Taiwan years back! I fell in love with them and now you could understand why I didn't hesitate to purchase. These were good, it took me back to my Taiwan trip. This is my first to try with grapes. I had only tried strawberries. The grapes were good. Very juicy, maybe a larger grape would be better since it didn't balance out the sweetness and tartness. The strawberry was my favorite. You could tell these were sitting awhile because the water from the fruit already lightly puddled at the bottom of the Tung Hulu. I have to say that the coating on the fruit especially on one of the order was quite thick which made it very hard when chewing. I was afraid I may cut my tongue while chewing. It was good, if only the coating was thinner. Still enjoyed my treat and glad to know I could find Tung Hulu here, if I didn't want to make it. I didn't have the chance to try any delicious sounding drinks The place is very big and have an open concept. They also have some outdoor seating. I would like to return and try a drink and if they still have Tung Hulu during the winter try them then too.

I was in the area and craving boba. We initially wanted to try Yun Tea House, but it was crowded, so we decided to check out this right next door that looked inviting and had a short line. The interior was spacious with a minimalistic design, and the back wall featured cute artwork that made the place feel unique. Each cup even had a different design inspired by that wall art! The menu offered a variety of tea options, and I ordered the white peach oolong with cheese foam. The white peach was light and paired perfectly with the oolong, while the cheese foam added a deliciously creamy touch. They also had dessert options, including tanghulu! The staff were friendly, and our drinks came out quickly. I would definitely come back to try their other specialty teas and I'm glad I discovered this place today!

I made a trip to five different boba shops on Convoy to rank their "boba milk tea". I tried to get the closest to black tea if they had more than one option. I chose 100% sweetness and no ice (to eliminate dilution). Here are my ratings: 1 Camellia: boba milk tea, regular milk 2 Chakaa: ruby milk tea w brown sugar boba, regular milk 3 Tan-Cha: celon milk tea w caramel boba, non-dairy milk 4 Yun Tea House: Monkey King w boba, lactose-free house milk 5 Dayung: boba milk tea, non-dairy creamer Caveats: I think Dayung made a mistake on the order because it had some ice in the drink when I picked it up. When I tasted it at home, it tasted watered down and completely bland, like there was no sugar. So I think instead of 100% sugar and 0% ice, they gave me 0% sugar and 100% ice. I also heard Dayung is better known for their fruit teas anyway. In terms of the actual boba balls, Camellia had the best chewiness and best taste. Chakaa came very close! Chakaa's boba tasted sweet; I could tell it was brown sugar/caramelized. For this reason, perhaps I would consider changing the sweetness to 50% or 75% level. The chewiness of the boba was excellent.
